Restrained, flexible, authentic: the range 2000 expresses the renowned heritage of Thonet in contemporary form.
The sofa 2002 and armchair 2001 with a high recognition value are based on an airy bentwood frame that wraps around a down-to-the-floor lush seat cushion and forms the armrests. The filigree wooden bracket gives the sofa and armchair an especially lightweight look – they also impress as freestanding pieces in any environment. The sofa’s loose backrest cushions and side cushions can be individually combined.
Thanks to its reduced form and high seating comfort, the bentwood sofa is not only suited for private use but also serves as a social meeting point in modern office landscapes. The ottoman 2002 H reflects the volume and seams of the seat cushions of the armchair and sofa, allowing for the arrangement of entire lounge landscapes that create a dynamic and harmonious group picture.
The solid curved wood of the sofa and armchair is available in stained or lacquered beech or in oiled, lacquered or stained ash.
